Last week I did a quick shoot with Amin Sharifi near the lake. It was the last warm day Toronto had before all these flurries and incredible blows of winds. I guess you can say black is fitting for the occasion given I was mourning the loss of warm weather.
For this shoot, I wore ZARA’s crop top, flared pants from a co-ord I got from boohoo.com, Marnova shoes and Aritzia’s blanket scarf.
Speaking of crop tops… Tomorrow, I’m going to two events: the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball (Hedley, Alessia Cara, The Chainsmokers, and The Weeknd) and then Robin Schulz to end the night. My friend asked me, “So what do we wear this Friday night? Is it still crop top season?” To which I answered, “Always.” I mean crop top is such a staple and it’s so sad you can’t wear it in the winter – or can you? It is less practical but isn’t that what winter jackets are for? I go to concerts and shows frequently and crop tops are the most comfortable thing to wear considering you’re an inch away from people in a hot and stuffy vicinity.
